    Mechanical engineering is the most straightforward career path for a student who majors in mechanical engineering. You can be automation engineer,Instrumentation engineer, and maintenance engineer. It depends on your interest.

    You can choose many fields like Aerospace engineer,
    Automotive engineer,CAD technician.Contracting civil engineer.
    Control and instrumentation engineer.
    Maintenance engineer.

    Although, It’s one of the broadest engineering fields but It’s completely ones choice to go for any of electric generators, designing elevators and building, CAD technician. It’s simply about choosing the right for yourself.

    I think a civil engineering degree not only prepares you for work in the construction industry as well as in business, management and financial sectors. It’s a vast field to choose, and also It depends upon ones choice.
